Lots of excitement in the past week, had my first real-life post-grad interview which can only mean ONE THING: ego-boosting jams all. damn. day.

Eerie Surrealie Purity

Gorgeous yet slightly unnerving new video for Purity Ring’s track “Lofticries”, one that’s always deep in rotation at our pad.

Made it home after a nice spin through town on the beach cruiser, the hot afternoon sun dripping down through fresh green foliage, light breeze lifting my locks into the air, feelin in rhythm with life.  Found this song.  I do believe it’s the soundtrack to that sentiment.

 

Heard the remix first, but the original is absolutely lovely just the way it is.

This one just took me straight back to slanted sunlight over the narrows, where I’m now fairly certain my heart has been residing, hiding out from the tumult of the lower 48.

My oh my does this song make it feel good to find it again.
